Who we are
Jen & Ron are a married couple who have enjoyed singing together casually for many years. They are excited to share with you their first album, Come To The Table.
Ron has written songs occasionally for many years, and was part of the comedy team of Bud ‘n Bubba – Rednecks for Jesus. Jen has been singing all her life and her vocal style has been compared by many to that of the late Karen Carpenter. Jen & Ron have been worship leaders and part of the praise team at churches in the north and middle Georgia area.
Jen & Ron make their home in the small town of Milledgeville, Georgia, and they have 2 grown daughters and 3 grandchildren.
We believe in one Triune God—Father, Son and Holy Spirit (John 14:16-20)
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s one and only Son, our one and only Savior (1 John 4:9,10 / John 3:16)
We believe that Jesus was born both fully human and fully divine, conceived of the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary; that he lived and taught truths as the son of God; that he was crucified for our sins, died on the cross and rose again bodily from the dead on the third day; that he will return to earth to judge both the living and the dead. (Acts 2:22-41 and many other New Testament passages)
We believe in the Holy Spirit who dwells within every Christian. (1 Corinthians 3:16)
We believe in the Bible as God's inspired Word. (2 Timothy 3:15,16)
We believe that all have willfully sinned and fallen short of God's standard, but that there is forgiveness and hope in Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23)
We believe the Bible teaches that salvation—the forgiveness of sins—is only by grace through the blood of Jesus Christ (Romans 5:9; Ephesians 2:8-9)
We believe the Bible teaches that one receives God’s grace by putting faith in Christ, repenting of sin, confessing Christ and being baptized into Christ (Romans 5:1-2 / Luke 24:45-47; Acts 3:19; 17:30; 2 Peter 3:9 / Matthew 10:32; Romans 10:9; Philippians 2:11; 1 John 4:15 / Acts 2:38, Romans 6:1-7; Galatians 3:27; Colossians 2:12; 1 Peter 3:21)
